Centralina Area Agency on Aging (AAA) – strives to support and enhance the capacity of service and advocacy systems to promote independence, preserve dignity, and advocate for the rights of older and disabled adults and their families. The Centralina AAA serves a nine county region: Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly, and Union counties.
Friendship Trays – Delivering nutrition and more to neighbors in need.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Centers – Senior Centers provide individuals 55 years and older various opportunities to improve their physical and cognitive health, expand their support systems, and find services they need to remain independent.
Mecklenburg Transportation System (MTS) – offered by DSS, this is an eligibility-based program that provides transportation for those on Medicaid and qualifying Veterans, for example, to give them access to such varied services as dialysis, chemotherapy, nutrition sites, and shelter workshops.
Providence Transportation Solutions—a privately owned company providing transportation needs for medical appointments, senior transportation, worker’s compensation, hospital admission and discharge, social engagements, special events, school transportation, errands and more.

Iredell Council on Aging – The Iredell Council on Aging (ICOA) is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the quality of life and maintaining independent living for individuals age 60 or better.
